Better Teeth

When I was a boy the dentists of the day would pull teeth from the front if ones top teeth were too crowded. The bottom teeth were often left to twist and turn until they made themselves fit.

My teeth embarrassed me and caused me to half smile most of the time. As a child many of my teeth were removed.

I had had some bad experiences with dentists and really squirmed when the Big Needle appeared to numb my mouth.

Twelve years ago I researched dentists in our area and found the most credible one. At that time he directed me to have four teeth pulled. He said they were gone and could not be saved. For three years I did nothing. They didn’t hurt, and I avoided the issue.

I met Dr. Jeff Goodman, and his philosophy is to save every tooth if possible. I liked his attitude and made an appointment to have an evaluation. Jeff told me he thought all of my teeth could be saved, and I agreed to go through with rebuilding my smile.

All of my teeth are still in my mouth and they look natural and healthy. They are covered with veneers and crowns. They even feel natural to me.

The process took several visits and I had to fly across America to complete the work as Jeff is in LA and I am in DC.

The day came for the first major work, and I nervously settled back onto the dentist’s chair. The dental assistant prepped me, and Jeff entered the room. By now my palms were clammy, and my shirt was beginning to become damp with perspiration.

Jeff started in my mouth and placed some pads on my upper gums. We were doing the top teeth first. I cringed as he went for the numbing agent.

Jeff turned around and had a little computer generated devise in his hand. I said, “Where’s the big needle?”

Jeff laughed and said we haven’t used that in years, “Where have you been?”

The whole experience was totally pain free! I couldn’t believe it. Had I known this, I would have done it much sooner. You have seen the before and after. You know it is real.

Now you know who to go to for the smile you have always wanted.

Would I fly across America again to have my teeth redone? In a heartbeat! I will always go to an artist rather than a mechanic! Jeff is certainly an artist.

Having nice teeth has changed the way I feel about myself. The better we feel, the better we become. How we think we look effects everything about us.

Fixing our smile changes everything about our self image. A beautiful smile is an important part of the first impression we give to others.

Looking good is important to our total well being! For an excellent dentist go to Better Teeth.
